Gizmodo got it’s hands on a new 2010 iPhone prototype. Looks great. Let’s see if Apple gets them to pull the post and photos.
UPDATE: A great blog post by Andy Ihnatko about this leaked device. He speculates that if it is indeed real, this may not be a finished shell design due to a few cues that make it look a bit cheaper than standard Apple hardare. He also brings-up ethical implications that Gizmondo seems to have ignored by keeping this prototype for at least a week without returning it to Apple, and then posting about it to obviously drive traffic.
I might also add that the round volume buttons really through me off… They look out of place, and very “un-Apple” along with the gaps in the metal frame. It reminds me of the PSP. I don’t mind the basic more flat and simple design, but it’s those few details that come to the surface that make it look like either a fake or early’ish pre-production prototype.
