Just finished watching the Nintendo and Sony live streaming keynotes (and Microsoft’s yesterday)… I must say, Microsoft and Sony both had great E3 keynotes. Happy I own both platforms. Totally not feeling Nintendo anymore personally.
Hello. I'm Nathaniel Daught, (28) a graphic designer, artist, Mac geek, and gamer. These are my ramblings, photos, links, and art because I sometimes have too much time on my hands... One would assume that you also have too much time on your hands because you are reading this blog. Enjoy.

Playing Super Metroid on my DSi #videogames (Taken with instagram)
Beat every level of Scribblenauts for DS using the same 2 items. This obviously got past the testers. You can easily cheat your way through the game with it’s own game mechanics.
I don’t really want the game anymore personally. I had my fun playing with a friend’s copy on the start menu creating objects and creatures; that gets old after maybe a half hour. On top of that I hear that the game controls awful, in some levels you have to fight against the game controls just to complete a task with items that should work.
It’s an ambitious game, but maybe too ambitious for it’s own good.

Not bad sounding stuff. It’s all done on just the Korg DS-10 for Nintendo DS. I’ve pre-ordered my American copy on Amazon today. [Via Kotaku]
I’m so hyped for this, I think I’ll pre-order it.

See the video I posted a few weeks ago.
Could be another good reason to get a DS. I’ll start saving my pennies.
With the Korg DS-10 synthesizer being released for the Nintendo DS, I am now really tempted to buy a DS. However I have never really been that impressed with the games before, so I’m going back to take a 2nd look at the best games and see if it’s really worth my money.

-The World Ends With You Perhaps the most interesting DS game.
-Geometry Wars: Galaxies A bit casual, but interesting.
-Lunar Knights This is the kind of game I’ve enjoyed on GameBoy.
-Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow I love the GameBoy Castlevania games.
-Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
-Metroid Prime Hunters Not a huge Metroid fan, but it looks good enough.
-Sonic Rush I’ve been a Sonic fan since the old 16bit days, and Sonic is at his best in 2D.
-Mario Kart DS everyone loves it, and could be fun multi-player with friends.
-Kirby Canvas Curse I’ve heard this is a good use of the DS touch screen.
-Super Mario 64 DS I never had an N64, and this is a good game.
Also my GameBoy games will still be playable.
That about does it. I just went through the DS games list and picked all the well rated interesting games. It’s about the same number of PSP games I own. Worth my money? Maybe…
Great now I’m really going to have to buy a DS.. Apparently the Korg DS-10 synthesizer (I posted about before) is set for international release starting in July. [via Wired]
Wow this makes me want a Nintendo DS. A full featured synthesizer program for the DS: Korg DS-10.
